Our downtown pool hall has six tables with new felt, straight cues and decent chalk. Walk in, grab a table, settle whatever you came here to settle.
Tables rent for $6.00 an hour.
Of Bar
The longest bar in town. Full liquor, cold drafts, and bartenders who remember your order and your business.
Open Late
Wings, pizza, baskets and fried everything. Late-night food should still be actual food.
Who We Are
A Milledgeville bar, run by Milledgeville people.
Greene Street Pool Tavern opened in 2023, when we took over the downtown space that locals knew for years as The Fat Squirrel. We rebuilt it as a neighborhood pool hall with new tables, new felt, and a kitchen that stays on late. We kept the part that already worked: a room where anybody can walk in, grab a table, and shoot a game.
It’s a dive bar in the good sense: cold beer, good tables, fair prices and nobody putting on airs. We’re independently owned and operated, right here on West Greene Street. Our staff is a mix of longtime locals and college students, and most nights you’ll find one of the owners behind the bar or racking a table.

Free Music Bingo Tuesday. Free trivia Thursday. Hosted karaoke Tuesday through Saturday. Happy Hour Monday through Friday, and on Monday those prices run all night.
Private Events
Bring the whole group down.
Sorority and fraternity events, parents’ nights, wedding parties and receptions, birthdays and team nights. Six tables, our own kitchen, and karaoke, trivia, music bingo or live music if you want it. Send us the date and the headcount and we’ll tell you what’s open.
